Community Roles We’re Calling In

Content Creator / documentarian

Our media studio is live, and we are making media about the communities movement. If you want to participate in content capture, editing, and planning exciting forms of media, join us! You will have the opportunity to plug into our partnership with FIC and make paid educational content.

Food Sovereignty Specialist

You don’t just know how to garden, but you are comfortable designing systems for food self-sufficiency. From aquaponics to preserving food, your passion is creating organic food yield that can sustain a community and decrease our dependence on fragile food distribution systems.

You have experience with computers, software, and building physical tech. Your passion is to materialize a more eco future through technology, and you love to tinker. We are working on building our meshtastic network, creating offline local LLMs, repurposing technology for community goals, and incorporating ecofuturistic solutions.

You’re a mutual aid builder who stays politically active and informed. You’re always looking to create local partnerships and encourage civic participation, and you want to build solidarity in intentional community.

Event Host & Facilitator

We host events regularly at Wild Seeds, and we’re inviting in more people who would like to plan and host events and residencies (monthlong educational immersions) at Wild Seeds.

  3. Tour the ranch

  4. Attend events

  5. Visit the ranch for a guest stay

  6. Show up for an in-person or virtual interview with the whole community

  7. Read the onboarding documents

  8. Move in!

 FAQs

  • 12hrs/month towards community growth is required for long-term residents (more than 1 month stay). It's part of our responsibility to keeping this place affordable and acting as long-term guardians of the space.

  • Fill out the application!

  • Long-term residents can use the community as a springboard for their entrepreneurial pursuits. Want to host an event and make money? The space is yours! Residents can also be awarded their own private garden plots, and get free access to all community events.

  • Everybody wants to live with people they care about. We're doing our best to curate an awesome group of people who are fun and inspiring to be around. There's also so many cool that make more sense financially and socially to have together than to have individually. We love community and we find it healing.

  • We are a pet-friendly community (we even have our own dog park). However we individually review and accept any new pets, especially large dogs, outdoor cats, and any exotic pets.

    Our limit of outdoor cats is 3, and our limit of dogs is between 5-6.
