Our Mission
Wild Seeds Ranch exists to create an ever-evolving community that supports the individual growth of its members, creates cultural and educational opportunities for the broader public, and serves as a beautiful, resilient example of a sustainable future.
Everything the GM does should serve that mission — not just operationally, but culturally.
Culture Agreements
Wild Seeds Ranch has a distinct identity, and the GM is its primary steward. A few things that define who we are and how we operate:
Builders & Creators The kind of people that thrive at Wild Seeds are remote creative professionals, eco-preneurs, event producers, artists, musicians, builders, and futurists.
Solarpunk by design. We incorporate decentralized technology, recycled systems, and low-footprint living into daily life. If you’re a nerd who wants to build cyber decks, record how much water our plants are getting, or code local AIs that run on sunlight.
Inclusive and health-forward. We are an affirming, positive community open to diverse relationship structures, backgrounds, and ways of living. First and foremost, we practice a mature and authentic coexistence. We want everyone to be their best selves and to have a learning mentality.
No plant medicine ceremonies or drug businesses. The Ranch does not host plant medicine events or drug-focused gatherings, internally or as outside events. While we are not strictly a sober community, we believe there are more appropriate places to self-explore like that, and that isn’t Wild Seeds. Wild Seeds is intended to be kid-friendly, and we want to encourage that experience.
Built for longevity and expansion. We make decisions with the long-term health of the community in mind, legally, interpersonally, and operationally. We are the flagship project, and will continue to foster positive relationships with our immediate neighbors, local communities/businesses, and the greater San Diego network of intentional communities & cultural institutions.
Is This You?
You're someone who has lived in community before, or understands instinctively why it's harder and better than living alone. You can hold logistics and culture in the same hand. You know the difference between a problem that needs solving today and one that needs a conversation first. You want to build equity in something that matters.
If that's you, we'd love to hear from you.
